A rustic wooden puzzle that stands in for the guest book at your reception. Guests pick up a piece, sign it and put it back on the table; afterwards you build the puzzle and keep it on a shelf or in a frame. Your names and your date are engraved on the center piece. Made to order in our family workshop.

Guests sign one piece each, so the piece count is the simplest way to choose. The matching box is stained to match the puzzle and carries your chosen style on the lid.

Personalize it in the builder

Start with your Puzzle Size — the piece count — then add the matching puzzle box if you want one. Pick your Puzzle Color and your Center Piece Style; the square under the list shows the style you chose. Tick Leave out the decorative elements if you would rather have only the names and date. Then type your Names and your Date. Write the date the way you want it engraved, for example “June 14, 2026” or “06.14.2026”; we cut every piece exactly as entered in the builder, so please read your entry twice. Use Additional Notes for layout wishes or to ask for a digital proof.

Included, shipping and care

You receive the personalized puzzle, the engraved pen and the sign; the puzzle box is included only when you add it, and the styling in the photos is decoration only. Every puzzle is made to order in 3 business days, ships with free express shipping and is delivered in about 3–4 business days. Keep it indoors away from direct sunlight, dust it with a soft dry cloth, and sign the pieces with the pen we send or a fine paint pen (test on the back of a piece first).

Natural wood takes stain a little differently on every board, so small variations in grain and tone are part of a handmade piece.

Made to order in 3 business days, then free express shipping with FedEx or UPS. Delivery takes about 3–4 business days after your order ships, with tracking by email. Order today and it arrives in about 6–7 business days.

Your order is protected

Personalized pieces are made just for you, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. If your sign arrives damaged or does not match what you typed, send us a photo within a few days of delivery and a new one ships right away, at our cost.

US orders: no import fees. Outside the US, duties or VAT may be charged by your country before delivery.

Digital proof & changes

Want to see it first? Ask for a free digital proof in Additional Notes and we email a digital proof of your names, date and font within a business day. Production starts once you approve it; font, layout and small design changes are free at that stage. If we do not hear back within 24 hours, we make your sign as shown in the proof.

Frequently asked questions

Do you include the stand with the guestbook?

No. The price is for the guestbook sign only. Any stands, easels or décor shown in the photos are for styling and can be added separately if offered as an option on the page.

Can I choose the font?

The font in the photos is included. If you would like a different one, tick Choose a different font (+$2) in the builder and pick from 37 fonts; the font applies to the name only. Use the preview link on the product page to see your name in every font.

Will thin fonts be a problem when laser cutting?

Some very thin fonts are slightly thickened for production so the letters adhere well to the wood and stay durable over time. We always keep the style as close as possible to your chosen font.

Will you correct my text or add words like “the” or “EST”?

No. We prepare every order exactly as it’s submitted. We don’t add “the”, “EST”, apostrophes, plurals or fix grammar automatically. Please double-check names, dates and wording before you place your order.

Will I see a digital proof before you make it?

If you request a proof, we’ll email it to you for approval. You’ll have 24 hours to approve or request changes. If we don’t hear back within 24 hours, we’ll go ahead and make your sign according to the proof.

Will the wood grain and texture look exactly like the pictures?

Not exactly. Each piece of wood has its own natural grain, knots and small imperfections. These variations are normal and are part of the rustic, handcrafted look.

Will the wood color match what I see on my screen?

Colors can appear slightly different from screen to screen, and each board takes stain a little differently. Your sign will be made in the color you choose, but small tone differences are normal with real wood.

What is the “Please Sign Our Guestbook” (PSOG) sign?

It’s a small matching sign you can place next to the guestbook so guests know where to sign. It’s not automatically included; if you’d like it, please select it as an add-on when available.

Can I request a custom order or change the layout?

Yes. We’re happy to adjust layout, wording, size or stain color where possible. If you have a specific idea, send us a message before ordering and we’ll let you know what we can do.
